1. Data controller
The controller responsible for the processing described below is Eric Chalmakoff, Technical Project Services, Dorfstraße 14, 01458 Ottendorf-Okrilla, Germany. You can contact me at Chalmakoff.PDL@outlook.de or by phone on +49 172 1637024.
2. Visiting the website and hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary connection and request data are processed. These include, in particular, your IP address, the time and requested URL, technical browser information and, where transmitted by your browser, the page you visited previously. These data enable delivery of the website, troubleshooting and protection against abusive access.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legitimate interest is to provide a reliable and secure website. Processing connection data is technically necessary to make the website available to you.
Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement describes its responsibilities when processing data on behalf of a customer and its use of subprocessors. Data may also be processed outside the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the USA. For transfers covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Netlify refers to that adequacy framework; for other restricted transfers, it refers to EU Standard Contractual Clauses as safeguards. Further information about processing for which Netlify acts as controller and the bases for international transfers is available in Netlify’s Privacy Statement. The advertising features described there for Netlify’s corporate website are not integrated into this website.
Retention of technical data depends on their type and purpose. Relevant criteria include the time needed to deliver and secure the website, the investigation of specific errors or security incidents, and applicable statutory retention requirements. Personal data must be deleted or anonymised once their purpose and any retention obligations no longer apply. Where Netlify processes data as an independent controller, it determines retention based on the purpose, nature and sensitivity of the data, security risks and legal requirements; further details are provided in Section 7 of its linked Privacy Statement.
3. Fonts, images and website features
Fonts, images and program files are served together with this website. No external font services, embedded maps, videos, social media plugins or contact forms are integrated. The website code does not set cookies, store information in local browser storage or include advertising or usage analytics tools. The scroll animations do not process data on an additional server.
4. Contact by email and phone
If you contact me, I process the information you provide, including your name, contact details, company where applicable, the content of your enquiry and related correspondence. These data are processed to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential working relationship.
If your enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps taken prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, such as those from company representatives, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is to handle business enquiries.
The email address shown on this website uses Microsoft’s Outlook.com service. For users in the EEA, Microsoft identifies Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft and the email service providers involved process communications data when delivering and storing emails. Microsoft also describes processing outside the EEA, including in the USA, and the safeguards used, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses, in its Privacy Statement. Phone calls are handled by the telecommunications providers involved.
Providing your information is voluntary. Without the information needed to handle your enquiry, it may not be possible to respond. Email and phone links open the relevant application on your device; clicking a link alone does not send a message through this website.
5. Retention and other recipients
Enquiry data are deleted once the matter has been fully addressed and further retention is no longer necessary. If a working relationship follows, the necessary data continue to be processed to perform the contract. Statutory retention requirements and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may require longer retention. The relevant legal bases are Article 6(1)(c) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In addition to the technical service providers described above, other recipients receive data only where necessary to handle the matter or required by law, such as competent authorities where a legal obligation applies. Data are not shared for advertising purposes.
6. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Right to object
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in accordance with Article 21 GDPR. Processing will then cease unless there are overriding compelling legitimate grounds or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
To exercise your rights, contact me using the details above. This website does not involve automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. The competent authority for this business in Saxony is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte).
8. Updates
This notice will be updated if the services used or the processing of personal data change.
